Our core purpose is to ensure all students develop both the academic and wellbeing skills and knowledge required to thrive in the 21st century, enabling them to pursue the multitude of pathways beyond secondary schooling that are avaialbIe to them. I am extremely proud to be the Principal of this fantastic school and I, along with all of our staff, warmly welcome you to find out more about our school and all it has to offer our community.
Located in a beautiful, natural setting just 20 km from the heart of Melbourne we have a a well-earned reputation for excellence across a broad range of curricula and extra-curricular offerings. Student Voice is another key component of ensuring students who attend Warrandyte High School feel supported and heard. Students from all year levels are encouraged to join our Student Voice Council which meets fortnightly to discuss key issues and ideas around the school. Some recent examples of their success have included significant changes to our uniform, fundraising activities and input into key decision-making processes through representation on our School Improvement Team.
We also have an international student program. Warrandyte High School is accredited under the Department of Education CRICOS registration (CRICOS provider name and code: Department of Education, 00861K). For further information refer to www.study.vic.gov.au.
Our school values are Excellence, Integrity and Respect. This means we continually focus on High Expectations; Authentic Relationships; Student Voice and consistent Teaching and Learning Protocols.
