Doig Learning Centre
Built in 2009, the DLC is a modern, flexible learning space providing capacity for whole year levels to come together; it is used extensively for the Year 9 Taking the Challenge program.
Rob Graham Sporting Fields
The legacy of an extensive improvements program in 2008 is a first class turf sporting facility for cricket , football and soccer. The investment in water tanks and drainage ensure sustainability.
Refitted in 2013, the 250 seat theatre is in high demand for the school’s renowned theatrical productions and musical performances, as well as formal assemblies and presentations.
The library was upgraded in 2005 and now provides a bright, welcoming learning environment. As well as an extensive fiction, non-fiction, magazine and audio-visual collection, it also houses our ICT centre to support our 1:1 laptop program.
The qymnasium, indoor basketball court, change rooms and student toilets underwent extensive remodelling in 2011.
Blake Tennis Courts
Students at Warrandyte High School have access to 5 synthetic turf tennis courts.
As part of their Physical Education classes, students can use the Weights Training Room. Additional opportunities exist to use this facility after school with specialised PE staff available.
Warrandyte High School operates a canteen at recess and lunchtime, in line with its Healthy Eating policy.
There are a number of specialist classrooms within Warrandyte High School such as the four well equipped Science areas, two kitchens and dining room, design and technology areas for wood, textiles and jewellery. Within the Art wing, there is a dark room for photography and a ceramics kiln. We have a purpose-built music classroom and specialist instrumental practice rooms.
All classrooms are airconditioned and heated.
